Lip blush is similar to other permanent makeup, it allows you to wake up with picture perfect, beautifully flushed lips without applying lipstick, gloss or balm. Lip blush is a cosmetic tattoo that enhances the lip colour by pigment being deposited into the lips with a microneedle attached to a machine.
The treatment lasts around 2 to 3 years and touch-ups are required around every 6 to 12 months to keep them looking fresh. Each shade of lip blush is one of a kind for every individual client, the shade is customised to the colour that best enhances the person’s lips and matched closely to the clients desired colour. No matter your age, complexion or preferences, we will identify the exact shade of nude, coral, pink or red to provide lip blush that is subtle or bold; it all depends on how you want to look.
Your lips will swell and be bigger than expected for the first few days after the treatment. The swelling will gradually go down and the colour will lighten 20-50% during the complete healing process.
There are many people that can benefit from lip blush. Some of the benefits include lips that look more defined without fillers, restored colour to pale lips, camouflages scars and hyperpigmentation, and may eliminate the daily use of pencils to outline, fill in or reshape lip borders. Lip blush is also good if you have asymmetrical lips, the pigment can be used to even the lips out giving them the illusion of symmetry.
Others that lip blush can benefit are people who have undergone cleft palate surgery and are left with scarring. Whilst grateful to simply have had the defect repaired, many become self-conscious of the scarring and asymmetry that follows surgery. Lip blush can achieve better lip symmetry for these clients, all while also helping with the scarring itself by dismantling scar tissue.
