Permanent eyeliner is a treatment that replaces the need to apply eyeliner every day. It is also known as an eyeliner tattoo; this is due to the procedure of pigment being applied across the lash line into the dermal layer of the skin using a machine. This then creates the appearance of eyeliner.
There are a variety of styles such as a thin, natural line amongst your lash line to enhance your eyelashes, a bolder, thicker line to give your eyes a more noticeable eyeliner look or you can get a winged liner. Like other forms of permanent makeup, the colour in the pigment will fade gradually and touch ups will be needed around every 3 to 5 years.

And people who have vision or dexterity issues such as Arthritis or Parkinson’s disease can get permanent eyeliner, so they do not have to apply eyeliner themselves.
